All beautiful picks! I too have to be practical. Living in California I have the unfortunate (I love the cold) situation of it not being cold enough through the year to wear the coats I have and the ones on my wishlist. However, the Malike is perfect and on wishlist.
Hi Neelam! First post I read after subscribing. I just bought the LA Collection Achilles coat after seeing it on you. The mulberry silk is amazing! Two questions for you though: should I be worried that the wool content is quite low compared to viscose? And do you feel you need the shoulders (and maybe sleeves too) taken in? Bu the way, found out they had an all cashmere version before that is unfortunately sold out!
I wouldn’t worry too much about the wool-to-viscose ratio. As for the shoulders and sleeves, feel free to make any adjustments to enhance the coat's fit on your frame. Since my shoulders are broad, I plan to take the coat in slightly, but I’m leaving the sleeves as they are since it's easy enough to roll them up a bit. I've tried the cashmere version, and it’s lovely as well, but I prefer this one!
Thank you so much! I just dropped the coat off at the tailor’s!! I’m glad you let me know your thoughts about the cashmere version. It helps when you feel you’ve missed out on something! Happy weekend.
Thank you for your recommendations for styles and variations of coats! As you mentioned in your video, you can wear it over pajamas and still look chic. Malika is my favorite, thinking about it.
Thanks Lisa! I hope to, one day, be living vicariously through others as well because I’m so DONE WITH THE COLD and as much as I love fashion, I love the heat even more.
The Bavda is so ICONIC!!! But curious, where would you fit the Sanday coat in terms of weight and ability to fit a chunky sweater? It’s between that one and the Malika for me !
All so stunning! The Malika & an oversized trench are on my wish list!
Both of those tick off so many boxes and are “essentials”.
Love everything about this post ♥️
Thanks Ingrid, trying to get seriously practical with purchases in the winter which means mostly coats and knits.
Couldn’t agree more. Coats are key and you certainly make the point with each. Your looks are the best of both worlds. Alluring yet sensible!
That’s so kind! Thank you. ♥️

Malika IS perfect. A great all-round coat. 😍

The most gorgeous coat collection. Thank you for sharing with us ❤️ My take? Once you go long, you never go back!
Yup! I almost never wear short jackets anymore, they do nothing for me. 😂
love. curious what you mean when you say you had the shoulders "pinched?" thanks for the inspiration.
The shoulders were too wide and I had them brought in a little. :)
I'm so glad my dramatic plea connected LOL -- that orange! And thank you for the intro to a new Ukrainian brand xx
Really made sense to me Rachel. “Needed” it. And the Kulakovsky team is super gracious and they’re exactly the kind of brand I want to support.
Well I just bought the organza coat :-) Miami appropriate. XO.
Which one??
The long one ;-)
White organza! One size fits all.
I love that you highlight a Ukrainian brand and that look is so amazing!! So rich in textures and very elegant but playful. Taking notes here
They’re a wonderful team and their pieces are crafted beautifully.
My god, the Kulakovsky is GORGEOUS 😍 And yes, nothing like topping a completely average outfit with a dreamy floor length coat to cover all your sins!
Haha! Many many sins. 😉

And it’s a robe-type coat so it works well over pyjamas! 😂
Thanks for the Note, Neelam! I LOVE living vicariously in your winter wonderland of coats - xoxox

The Sanday is a lighter coat and more for fall weather. Layered up it’s decently warm but not winter warm. That’s what Malika is for.

- Reading this currently freezing in the Cotswold's winter, hot water bottle on my lap, nodding
😂
Yummyyy
Xo
The red Badva is so fabulous on you!
Thank you so much, I love it too and I’m a different woman in it. Instantly happy! 😂
Love them all but my favs are the Malika and oversized Trench as well!! So good!
Those seem to be the favourites! Both are timeless. 🥰
